These items of audio relate primarily to the ‘texts for performance’ which are the HERE LIES Cantos.

In the first, Crowder is heard reading from Canto I, recorded in the studio in Brixton. The second features the final movement of the HERE LIES Suite, an original composition for solo cello, performed and recorded by the composer, Simon McCorry. The third is Crowder again with a reading of Canto V. This is followed by two pieces of original electronica from the suite entitled Amonism, composed by McCorry for the inaugural HERE LIES event at MASS.

Crowder and McCorry premiered the HERE LIES Cantos at Crescent Arts Scarborough in September 2003, supported by Arts Council England.
